Quiz Night at The British Motor Museum

11th October 2021

Coming very soon – a new Quiz Night at the British Motor Museum…

The British Motor Museum is to host a brand new Quiz Night on Tuesday 9 November, in the first of a new series of Museum Lates running over the winter months. The quiz will be led by special guest Danny Hopkins, Editor of Practical Classics Magazine. All proceeds of the event will go towards the vital work of the British Motor Industry Heritage Trust.

Teams can enjoy a fun night out while testing their knowledge of classic cars. The evening includes time to look around the Museum from 5.30pm with round one being a trail around the Museum to find the answers which must be completed by 7pm when the next quiz rounds start.  Pie and mash including vegan & vegetarian options will be served at 7.45pm and is included in the ticket price. The bar will be open from 5.30pm for teams to buy their drinks. The winning team will receive a cash prize.

Catherine Griffin, Curator at the British Motor Museum said “We are delighted to be hosting our inaugural quiz which promises to be a great, fun night out. Don’t worry if you’re not a classic car buff, we promise there will be a mix of questions to keep you entertained!”

There is a maximum of six people per team. Tickets cost £15 each or £10 for Members. Premium Members can attend the event free of charge. As this event is outside normal Museum opening hours Annual Passes are not valid. Limited places available so early booking is advised.

Our well-respected contributors live and breathe motor cars; aren’t we lucky?

Contributors to the site include talented, highly-respected people (so they tell me) on the hallowed membership list of the Guild of Motoring Writers, and from the similarly well thought-of Western Group of Motoring Writers. In addition there are valued contributions from other knowledgeable and capable motoring writers who have something useful to say about all aspects of driving and running vehicles in the 21st Century. All of our team are passionate about motor cars!
