Beaulieu tells us…
As the summer draws to a close, Beaulieu is gearing up for a line-up of unmissable motoring rallies and events to round off its busy events calendar. With three Simply ralliesto come, plus further external rallies and, of course, the iconic International Autojumble just around the corner, there’s still plenty to look forward to.
Kicking off September is the Beaulieu Oak Run on Sunday 6th September. Visitors can see these stunning vehicles arrive and go on display outside the stunning Palace House by purchasing a general admission ticket to Beaulieu. As part of the annual tradition, an oak tree sapling is planted each year to commemorate the run.
Next on the calendar is the iconic International Autojumble, taking place on 12th and 13thSeptember. A must-visit for motoring enthusiasts, the event will fill Beaulieu’s event fields with thousands of motoring treasures, from rare parts and automobilia to vintage finds. The Classic Car Park will feature an impressive display of classic vehicles, while the Automartwill offer a variety of cars for sale. Adding to the atmosphere throughout the weekend, vinyl DJ Retro Grooves will be spinning classic tunes, creating the perfect soundtrack to a day of treasure hunting.
Following the International Autojumble, Simply BMW returns to Beaulieu on Sunday 20thSeptember, continuing to grow in popularity and attract an ever-increasing number of BMW enthusiasts. With BMWs of all models and ages invited to take part, the event will showcase everything from classics like the BMW 2002 to the modern BMW M4. Among the highlights is the Story Behind the Car feature, where selected owners share the interesting stories behind their BMWs, from remarkable restorations to unusual histories. Meanwhile, the People’s Choice Award gives rally-goers the chance to pick their favourite motor on display, with prizes awarded to the top three and a trophy presented to the overall winner.
Making a welcome return to Beaulieu on Saturday 26th September is VauxALL South, following its debut last year. Organised by show commentator and YouTuber Our Tim, the event brings together Vauxhall, Bedford and Opels. The Top of the Vaux competition will see the public vote for their favourite Vauxhall on the day, while Tim will choose the standout Opel in the Opel Encore. The Roll & Shine moving motorshow will bring the action into the arena, as owners drive their cars through and chat to Tim about what makes them special.
Rounding off the month is Simply Italian on Sunday 27th September, sponsored by Hendy Group. Welcoming Italian cars of all makes, models and ages, the event promises a colourful mix of cars, from much-loved Fiats and Alfa Romeos to jaw-dropping Ferraris and Lamborghinis. Visitors can enjoy the popular Story Behind the Car feature as well as the People’s Choice Award, making it a fitting finale to September’s packed motoring calendar at Beaulieu.
However, it doesn’t end there. The Simply calendar continues into November with Simply Smart on Sunday 8th November, held each year on Remembrance Sunday. Welcoming Smart cars of all varieties, the rally is always a characterful one, with owners often putting their own stamp on their cars with bold wraps and eye-catching designs. Visitors can admire the eclectic line-up and have their say in the People’s Choice Award, choosing their favourite Smart of the day.
