Wheels-Alive ‘Hand Wash Only’ book competition… and the winners are…

Author/Source: Kim Henson

12th August 2022

The two copies of the vehicle detailing book about to be sent to the two winners of our ‘free to enter’ competition.

Our competition, enabling two of our readers to win a copy of the new book ‘Hand Wash Only – A beginner’s guide to Detailing and Car Care’ has now ended…

Thanks to all of you who entered the competition, and to those who didn’t win, we’re sorry, but hope that you have better luck next time.

We are very grateful to the publishers of the book (PD Publishing) for kindly donating the two copies. It was written by Bert Youell and edited by Ian Sealey of PRO Detailer Magazine, and guides readers in-depth through the various aspects of vehicle detailing.

They tell us:

“Illustrated with hundreds of images and explained in clear language, ‘Hand Wash Only’ attempts to turn any car enthusiast into an expert detailer dedicated to keeping their vehicle looking its absolute best.

Via expert step-by-step guides and top tips readers will be armed with the knowledge they need to master the dark art of detailing, and once they have done so this book will continue to serve as vital reference material for the future.”

In my review of the book on this website, I rated it as ‘Excellent’.

For those who didn’t win a copy, ‘Hand Wash Only’ is available to purchase now for £12.95 from

www.prodetailermagazine.com

THE WINNERS

A reminder of our ‘free to enter quiz’ question: ‘Tell us the name of the section within our Wheels-Alive website that is all about having fun with cars’.

The answer is, of course, ‘Motoring For Fun’.

The winners’ names, randomly drawn out of the hat from those providing the correct answer, are Brian Marshall and Rob Stanley. A copy of the book will be on its way to each of these lucky winners. Thanks again for entering, Brian and Rob.
