World-Class Supercars Shine at Beaulieu Supercar Weekend
From rare hypercars to thrilling Demonstration Runs, Beaulieu Supercar Weekend delivered an action-packed show on Saturday 1st and Sunday 2nd August. More than one thousand supercars rolled into Beaulieu, creating an unforgettable celebration of automotive excellence.
A major highlight of the weekend was the spectacular Prestige & Hypercar Display on the Palace House lawns. Framed by the historic Palace House and enhanced with decorative planting kindly supplied by Folium & Flos, the display provided a breathtaking backdrop for some of the world’s most desirable performance cars. Leading the line-up was the all-new Ferrari F80, one of the most eagerly anticipated hypercars in recent years, alongside the Aston Martin Valhalla, the marque’s cutting-edge mid-engined hybrid supercar. They were joined by the extraordinary Aston Martin Valkyrie, the Pagani Huayra, and both the Ferrari LaFerrari and ultra-rare LaFerrari Aperta, creating an exceptional display of modern automotive engineering.
Another standout was the Porsche Holy Trinity, presented in partnership with Porsche Centre Bournemouth, bringing together the legendary 918 Spyder, 959 and a pristine and low mile example of a 356. Ferrari fans were also treated to a remarkable collection spanning generations, from the iconic Ferrari F40 to the latest Ferrari 12Cilindri Spider and SF90 XX Stradale.
The display also celebrated automotive icons from across the decades, including the Lamborghini Miura, often regarded as the world’s first supercar, the record-breaking Jaguar XJ220, the unmistakable BMW Batmobile, the Aston Martin One-77 and DB4 GT Zagato, alongside many more rare and prestigious vehicles.
Supercar performance took centre stage on Chestnut Avenue during the Demonstration Runs, as a line-up of stunning supercars delivered bursts of acceleration, precision braking and plenty of excitement for spectators. Taking place three times each day, the runs drew eager crowds as visitors gathered behind the hay bales to watch the action. Meanwhile, live coverage on the big screen in the Arena allowed showgoers to enjoy every moment.
The Supercar Sound-Off, sponsored by Nanolex Car Care UK, brought plenty of excitement as a selection of supercar owners took to the Arena with their prized vehicles for a crowd-pleasing showdown. Owners revved their engines to showcase their cars’ character and sound, before the audience decided which supercar earned the loudest cheer. An Ultima GTR was awarded first place on Saturday, while Sunday’s champion was a Toyota Supra, with both receiving a trophy and a bundle of Nanolex goodies.
Live music made its debut at this year’s Beaulieu Supercar Weekend, adding to the atmosphere across the grounds throughout the event. Visitors enjoyed a varied programme of performances, with acoustic duo John Burke and Tatt Hussein, better known as The Woven Crows, and contemporary folk band Lost Post taking to the stage on Saturday. Sunday’s entertainment featured TuneBox, a brother and sister duo, and Jemima and the Five, a six-piece band bringing upbeat pop, funk and soul music to the weekend. Drivers were also able to sit back and relax in the drivers marquee with live music from DJ Adam Dale throughout the day.
Sporting Bears returned with another impressive display of its members’ supercars. Visitors had the opportunity to get up close to these incredible vehicles and even sit inside some of the cars to capture a ‘selfie’ in return for a small donation. The team also hosted their popular raffle, giving visitors the chance to win a passenger ride in one of their supercars during the Demonstration Runs, while raising valuable funds for local child bereavement support charity, Simon Says.
Long-time event supporter Brookspeed returned to Beaulieu Supercar Weekend with an impressive display of performance and race cars, including the Ginetta G56 GTA, the ideal car for those looking to take their track day experience to the next level or make their first steps into competitive racing. Visitors also had the opportunity to hear from 15-year-old racing star Oscar Stockley-King, who took to the Arena stage to share his experiences of competing in the Ginetta Junior Championship and his journey through the world of motorsport.
The F1 Simulator brought the excitement of Formula One to life, giving visitors the chance to enjoy a thrilling virtual race experience around the circuit. Younger visitors could also get behind the wheel with Mini ROVERS, tackling a fun off-road course in a replica Series 2 Land Rover before proudly receiving their very own driving licence at the finish line.
Car clubs from across the region brought an impressive variety of vehicles to Beaulieu Supercar Weekend, creating a vibrant display and giving members the opportunity to meet fellow enthusiasts and share their passion for motoring. Visitors enjoyed exploring a range of trade stands offering everything from supercar merchandise to premium food and drink. Throughout the weekend, the event attracted photographers, content creators and supercar enthusiasts, who shared the action with fellow avid supercar fans across social media.
