Stolen Escort’s owner still determined to find where his car went…

7th August 2024

Yes, we realise that this car has been missing for more than two years, but rightful owner Graham King is not giving up on his Escort, and he has asked for details about his car to be shared again among enthusiasts and the wider public.  If you have any news regarding its whereabouts, please ontact the police or Graham direct…

Graham King’s bronze-coloured Ford Escort Mark I two door saloon, registration UFX 365L, was stolen on April 12th, 2022 from a private driveway in Wallisdown, east Dorset, and it is believed that it was taken in the early hours of the morning.

Graham is appealing once again for any clues, and is offering a substantial reward for genuine information leading to safe recovery of the car, which he has owned for many years.

At the time that the car was stolen, it had a car cover on it and a Krooklock was fitted, also the passenger front seat was not installed.

If you have ANY information, or if you can recall seeing the car being driven or on a recovery truck in the early hours of Tuesday 12th April 2022, or if you have seen the car parked anywhere, or maybe have been offered an Escort, or parts, or have any information at all, please contact the police and/or Graham directly. His Mobile number is (07982) 054324.

Alternatively please contact Nigel Trickett of Trickett Welding, Business number Tel. (01202) 625050 or Mobile (07831) 657831. Nigel restored the car for Graham and has maintained it for many years.

Please share this appeal widely; thank you.

Our well-respected contributors live and breathe motor cars; aren’t we lucky?

Contributors to the site include talented, highly-respected people (so they tell me) on the hallowed membership list of the Guild of Motoring Writers, and from the similarly well thought-of Western Group of Motoring Writers. In addition there are valued contributions from other knowledgeable and capable motoring writers who have something useful to say about all aspects of driving and running vehicles in the 21st Century. All of our team are passionate about motor cars!
