They tell us:
Beaulieu will be getting its busy 2022 events season off to a great start with a trio of vibrant Simply rallies, with Simply Aston Martin on Sunday 3rd April, Simply Audi on Sunday 10th April and new event Simply Italian on Sunday 24th April.
The first of 16 busy Simply events taking place this year in the Beaulieu parkland, Simply Aston Martin will be a real motor-themed treat for all the family. From the first-class selection of Astons lined up in the rally, to James Bond’s own DB5 in the National Motor Museum’s latest exhibition Bond in Motion – No Time To Die, every fan of these prestigious British sports cars will be in their element for this big day out.
Held in partnership with the Aston Martin Owners Club, the rally is open to every age and model of Aston Martin, from the marque’s earliest days right up to its modern-day classics. Last year’s line-up included a unique 1952 Graber-bodied DB2 Vantage – the only survivor of three built – as well as a stylish 2019 Vanquish Zagato Shooting Brake, a 1934 Aston Martin Mark II and a wide variety of much-loved Astons of all ages.
Returning due to popular demand, Simply Audi will see all manner of Audis take their places in the rally line-up. From the compact A1 and A2 to the luxury A8, high-performance RS, TT and R8 supercar, every type of Audi is welcome, with the line-up sure to reflect the huge variety of Audis on Britain’s roads.
Make sure to head inside the National Motor Museum, where fans of the original Audi Quattro will love the awesome 1983 Audi Quattro A2 rally car, which was driven to victory in numerous international events by motorsport aces Stig Blomqvist, Hannu Mikkola and John Bosch.
A brand new addition to the Beaulieu events calendar, Simply Italian will be a must-see highlight for anyone who loves a bit of Italian zest in their motors. From lively everyday Fiats and sporting Alfa Romeos and Lancias, to high-performance Lamborghinis, Maseratis and Ferraris, every car from Italy is invited to join the rally.
Taking place on National Drive-It Day, Sunday 24th April, what better destination could there be than Beaulieu’s Simply Italian? Enjoy a leisurely drive across the scenic New Forest in your treasured Italian car, before parking up with other enthusiasts to talk about all-things motoring-related.
At all three of these exciting Simply rallies, event-goers can vote for their favourite car of the show in the People’s Choice Award, with the winner receiving a Beaulieu trophy and an Autoglym prize. Voting is open to all visitors until 1pm that day, with the presentation taking place at 2pm.
All tickets must be bought in advance, with participant tickets due to go on sale on 21st February. Visit www.beaulieu.co.uk/events for the latest information.
All other visitors should purchase normal visitor admission tickets, which are available to book at www.beaulieu.co.uk.
