Fun This Easter 2022 at Beaulieu

26th March 2022

Get set for a great (in fact, phantasmagorical) day out at Beaulieu this Easter…

Beaulieu tells us:

Hop to it and celebrate Easter at Beaulieu as history comes to life, with the chance to experience remarkable vehicles and meet colourful characters out and about in the attraction from 9th to 24th April.

With historic vehicles in motoring parades, Chitty rides, Living History characters and the chance to see Bond in Motion – No Time To Die, plan a memorable visit to Beaulieu during the Easter holidays that all the family will enjoy.

Experience the sounds, sights and smells of the past, as historic vehicles rumble into life and drive out of the National Motor Museum for the daily motoring parade. From familiar family saloons to sportier machines and rugged utility vehicles, see these remarkable machines in action on the central arena to get a taste of what road transport was like in the days of yesteryear, then talk to the guides about the incredible stories that lie underneath each bonnet.

For those who are looking for something special, look out for one of TV and film’s most iconic cars, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. Throughout the holidays, this official reconstruction, built using authentic parts from one of the film’s Chittys, will be driving around the attraction for all to admire. Visitors will be able to book their own ride (additional charges apply, with tickets bookable upon arrival) and take their seat in this ‘fine-four-fendered-friend’ for a spin about the grounds of the National Motor Museum. This unique experience will last long in the memory of any Chitty Chitty Bang Bang fanatic.

For bonnets of a different kind, visit Palace House where you will find Easter bonnets to try on.

Meet and interact with costumed guides and learn about life in the 19th century.

Plus over Easter weekend (Good Friday April 15th – Easter Monday April 18th) join in with fun Easter craft activities and see a larger-than-life Easter bunny hop through the grounds and gardens, handing out wildflower seeds to grow back at home. Be sure to snap a picture and share it on social.

James Bond fanatics can head inside the National Motor Museum to see new exhibition Bond in Motion – No Time To Die. Uncover some of Q Branch’s top-secret creations, from the iconic gadget-laden Aston Martin DB5, complete with LED number plates, mini-gun headlights and bullet-proof glass, to Bond’s Q-enhanced Omega Seamaster Diver 300M watch and henchman Primo’s bionic eye.

For the whole of the Easter holidays, families can enjoy letting off steam in Beaulieu’s enchanting new adventure play area Little Beaulieu. Accessible in all weathers, parents can enjoy a hot drink or tasty snack in the family-friendly outdoor seating area while kids wear themselves out.

Kids can also pick up an Easter activity trail on arrival to complete, which will guide them as they embark on their journey around the attraction.

Beaulieu, where marvellous days out are enjoyed together, is the perfect place to share a family day out. Visit www.beaulieu.co.uk for more information and to book your tickets now.

Important Note: The motoring parades will be taking place on 9th April, and then every day from 11th to 23rd April. Vehicle line-ups may be subject to change on the day.
