Transformers robots and star cars to appear at Beaulieu’s Custom and American Show in June

1st April 2025

The Custom and American Show is coming soon…

Beaulieu tells us:

(All words and ophotographs from Beaulieu).

The Custom and American Show returns on 15th June 2025, promising another exciting day of motoring and entertainment. Held in association with the Solent Renegades, this Father’s Day extravaganza is one of Beaulieu’s most anticipated events, featuring hundreds of jaw-dropping custom and American vehicles, live music, plus special appearances from famous cars and even autobots.

Amazing American motors will be filling the showground, from classic Camaros to modern Mustangs, as well as plenty of cool custom cars, bikes, trikes and hot rods. This vibrant car show is perfect for everyone, from auto enthusiasts to families looking to get an up-close look at some unique vehicles.

Fans of the Transformers franchise will be excited to discover the Transformers Display, featuring both the Optimus Prime truck and the Bumblebee car at the show. Not only this, but the walking Bumblebee and Megatron robots will be there, offering visitors the chance to interact with and take photos alongside these iconic robot heroes.

A variety of famous four-wheelers will be featured in the Film & TV Display* including the time-travelling DeLorean automobile featured in the Back to the Future franchise, KITT from Knight Rider, the ’67 Chevy Impala from Supernatural and the ’74 Chevy Nova from Pulp Fiction.

The line-up will also feature the ’87 Chevrolet Corvette C4 from The A-Team, the 1963 Volkswagen Beetle Herbie, the Mystery Machine from Scooby-Doo and an Austin Powers tribute car. Also returning to the show are the dynamic duo from the Cars franchise, Lightning McQueen and Tow Mater.

Those participating in the event with their custom or American vehicle will have the opportunity to be selected in up to five awards taking place at the show. Beaulieu will host a People’s Best in Show Award, Solent Renegades will select their favourite vehicle for the Solent Renegades Choice, and the Brian Ackland Memorial Award will be presented in memory of the popular individual in the custom car scene.

Children will have the opportunity to nominate their dad for the Father’s Day Prize Draw. The winner will be picked at random and will receive a Beaulieu hamper, packed full of goodies from the Beaulieu gift shop.

The Custom and American Show wouldn’t be complete without great entertainment. This year, attendees can kick back and relax or get up on the dance floor to live music from acts like Dorset-based country and folk band Route 66 and Craig Jefferson’s Elvis tribute act.

The fun continues with exciting fairground rides, each available for a small additional charge. Visitors can test their skills on a rodeo bull, race around on the dodgems and even take on the twister ride, and a smaller children’s amusement will also be at the show. To add a splash of colour to the day, face painting and glitter tattoos will be available free of charge.

Those taking part in the event with their qualifying vehicle can book their ticket in advance at www.beaulieu.co.uk/events/custom-and-american-show. Entry is from 8.30am, with the main event opening at 10am.

All other visitors can purchase standard admission tickets, which are available to book at www.beaulieu.co.uk/plan-your-visit.

Visitor and participant tickets include admission to the whole Beaulieu attraction, including the National Motor Museum and its new display, opening on 24th May: Icons of F1, as well as Palace House and its newly refurbished bedrooms, open to the public for the first time this year. There is also the 13th-century Beaulieu Abbey, Monorail, Secret Army Exhibition, Brabazon Restaurant and Little Beaulieu, the adventure playground. Plus, Beaulieu’s brand new feature exhibition ‘We Had One Of Those’, where visitors can get back in the driving seat of cars from their past.
