Poole Audi spreads the Motability word…

Author/Source: Kim Henson

Motability Accredited Specialists Jack Atkins and Adam Malkin.

WHO’S MISSING OUT ON MOTABILITY?

Poole Audi on Old Wareham Road in the Dorset town is a Motability accredited dealership and is launching a campaign to raise awareness of the scheme to those who are eligible in the Poole and Bournemouth conurbation.

Statistics show that there are over 12,000 people who qualify for the Motability scheme in the area, either because they claim the PIP (Personal Independence Payment) or a similar benefit, or they care for or support someone else who does, for example a spouse, sibling, or parent. In spite of this only a relatively small number use the benefit to obtain a new car.

One of Poole Audi’s four Motability Accredited Specialists, Adam Malkin, said: “We are trying to convey the message that anyone claiming the PIP can acquire a new Audi and have up to two additional drivers insured for the car – for example a partner or carer.”

“The Motability scheme covers everything except fuel – which means servicing, insurance, tax, breakdown cover, MOT and tyres are all covered for worry-free motoring! Furthermore, we have Audi models starting from nil advance payment, so customers can drive away in a brand-new A1 with no upfront payment required, simply in exchange for their PIP for the time they have the car.”

“With a range of brands available on the Motability scheme, we really want to let people know that an Audi is a cost effective option for them.”

There is a choice of Audi models, with the A1, A3 and Q2 compact SUV all available. In addition Poole Audi offers drive-in undercover servicing, for protection from the weather, and the onsite Schön Beauty Salon, which offers complimentary 15-minute treatments to Poole Audi customers whilst their car is in the workshop.”

Motability is available to everyone with a valid driver’s licence who claims the PIP, or similar benefits. Poole Audi is campaigning to raise the awareness of the scheme as there is a high number of people, including spouses, siblings and parents, who could benefit from the scheme.
