Poole Accident welcomes its new business…

Kim Henson reports.

Poole-based car bodywork and paint specialist Poole Accident Repair welcomed over 50 industry professionals at an event that showcased its new, 8,000 sq ft state-of-the-art Multi Material Facility, one that is stand-alone in the UK in terms of size and elements of its technology.

The new workshop represents a relevant and significant expansion for Poole Accident Repair, which already has an 8,000 sq ft. repair warehouse at its Dorset headquarters.

The new 16-bay workshop is able to repair aluminium vehicle such as Audi’s R8 and TT, the Bentley Bentayga, Porsche Panamera and all Tesla vehicles, along with composite vehicles including the Porsche 911, 991 and Audi’s A4, A6 and Q7 – of which most were displayed at the launch event to illustrate what the new facility is capable of.

Leon Coupland said: “The event was a great success – there was a lot of in-depth industry talk and we had guests from the trade who were really impressed with what we had to offer, there were representatives from the very top of our industry – many of whom had travelled from all over the country to be with us on what proved to be a very warm afternoon in the new workshop!

“Our team of highly qualified technicians was on hand to answer questions and demonstrate some of the new equipment. We can now repair multi material and aluminium vehicles to standards previously unachievable, and to a level that is certainly not available anywhere else in this region.”

About Poole Accident Repair:

The firm was established in 2004 and housed the first aluminium-enclosed cabin in the UK, and following a refurbishment of the 10,000 sq ft. site in 2015, and after the opening of the new multi-material repair facility, the company now has plans for further site improvements during 2017.
