National Motor Museum Raffle Prize winners enjoy New Forest drive in a 1914 Rolls-Royce

10th July 2023

Beaulieu runners-up but still winners !

The runner-up winners of the National Motor Museum Trust Prize Draw at Beaulieu have enjoyed a trip around the New Forest in a vehicle from the National Motor Museum collection.

(All words and photographs from The National Motor Museum, Beaulieu).

Elton and Georgina Evans and their children Jacob and Charlotte from Bramley, Hampshire were driven in a 1914 Rolls-Royce Alpine Eagle chauffeured by Kevin Cleary from the National Motor Museum.

With the top down on the veteran car, the family were able to make the most of the sunny weather on their trip. The prize also included a chocolate treat from the Beaulieu Chocolate Studio.

The Evans family were the third-prize winners of the 2020/21 raffle.

Georgina Evans said, “We had an amazing day and will always have very special memories of that day. Kevin our chauffeur was a true gent and a great driver.”

Each year the National Motor Museum holds a prize draw with all proceeds going towards the work of the National Motor Museum Trust. The star prize is a brand-new MINI Cooper Convertible. Runners-up prizes include New Forest trip, and a seat in an historic vehicle in the 2024 London to Brighton Veteran Car Run. Tickets are now on sale for the 2023 draw in the museum at Beaulieu.

Further details of the Prize Draw are available on National Motor Museum visit https://nationalmotormuseum.org.uk/
