Heritage Classic Car Insurance teams up with Edd China for classic car health check film series

26th September 2017

Keep your classic roadworthy – and sign up for a chance to WIN a Hamper worth £800!

Leading classic car insurance specialist, Heritage, has teamed up with motoring expert Edd China to produce a series of films about keeping your historic vehicle roadworthy – and those who register to watch the films for free are in with a chance of bagging a hamper of goodies worth £800!

Edd China’s Classic Car Health Check is a series of seven short films covering all aspects of inspecting your classic car for safety and roadworthiness at home.

With pre-1960 vehicles already MOT exempt and the government’s pending/soon-to-be-implemented decision regarding a rolling 40 year exemption, there’s no better time to learn more about keeping your classic car safe and secure.

Including everything from lights and screenwipers to steering and brakes, the films cover all the things owners should be checking when it comes to maintaining classic motors.

The first films are out now and available to view at heritagecarinsurance.co.uk. By registering to watch the films, viewers are automatically entered into a prize draw for the hamper.

Heritage has already handed over two tickets to Goodwood Revival as part of a prize draw for the first film in the series, with Michael Rowbottom winning. He had this to say after a fantastic weekend: “I had a truly memorable day and I am still buzzing with excitement.”

As well as being known for Discovery’s Wheeler Dealers, Edd China has appeared on Top Gear, Scrapheap Challenge and Fifth Gear.

Mark Wilkinson, Managing Director at Heritage Insurance Services, said: “We are delighted to have launched this film series with Edd and hope owners find it helpful when it comes to maintaining their classic motors. His expertise and unquestionable passion for classic cars is inspiring and has resulted in some quality films.”

He added: “If the government does decide to implement the rolling 40 year MOT exemption, it will become critical that we all keep our classic cars as safe as possible, for everyone’s sake. Even without an MOT, roadworthiness is a still a legal requirement.”
