Early Bird large savings as Christmas comes to Beaulieu

Beaulieu tells us about their Christmas festivities…

(All words and images from Beaulieu).

Get into the Christmas spirit at Beaulieu this festive period by coming together with family and friends to celebrate the season in style. From pantomime rehearsals and Christmas carols to outdoor theatre performances and seeing Father Christmas, there’s something for everyone this Christmas. Plus, save up to 40% with our Festive Early Bird offer on general admission tickets for selected dates when you book before 30 November 2023*.

On weekends in early December, and daily from 16th December until 1st January**, step back in time and experience a Victorian Christmas in Palace House, the historic home of the Montagu family. Meet costumed characters from 1889 as they prepare for the big day, whilst listening to carols and a pianist next to warming log fires. See sparkling traditional decorations with a tree in every room, and use inspiration to help decorate one yourself. Be sure to catch the Jack and the Beanstalk pantomime rehearsals at the Montagu Theatre; you might even have an opportunity to participate!

The festive fun continues in the National Motor Museum, which will be spruced in seasonal decorations. Hunt around the museum for Santa’s reindeer, and capture memories of your wonderful day out with a family photo inside one of the vehicles in the Museum.

As you make your way around the attraction in the afternoon, keep an eye out for Father Christmas! He’ll be driving around in a vehicle from the National Motor Museum so if you spot him, be sure to give him a wave!

The magic continues in Little Beaulieu, our enchanting adventure play area dressed in sparkle for the season. Accessible in all weathers, it is the perfect place for kids to wear themselves out as they explore the wooden replica of the Montagu family home. Parents can enjoy a cup of hot chocolate or even a mince pie in the family-friendly outdoor seating area.

All of Beaulieu’s Christmas holiday activities are included in the Beaulieu admission ticket, which also includes World of Top Gear, On Screen Cars, the Secret Army Exhibition, Beaulieu Abbey and its grounds and gardens. Save up to 40% with our Festive Early Bird offer on general admission tickets for selected dates when you book before 30 November 2023*. To book your tickets, visit beaulieu.co.uk.

And if that’s not enough to get you in the Christmas spirit, Beaulieu is excited to announce that the London Touring Players are returning with open-air performances of Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol in the atmospheric ruins of the Beaulieu Abbey from 14th to 24th December. Relive a timeless classic, sharing the tale of Ebenezer Scrooge with daily performances throughout the festive period. This spectacular walk-around musical production brings the magic of West End theatre to the heart of the New Forest.

Abbey Wright, Director, says “We are over the moon to be returning to the spectacular setting of the Beaulieu Abbey ruins this Christmas. It isn’t Christmas without Dickens’ most beloved miser, Mr. Scrooge. We are overjoyed to be able to share this story of family and love at Christmas Time.

Please join us for a production of ‘A Christmas Carol’ like no other; in the monumental setting of the Beaulieu Abbey Ruins, featuring Richard Keightley as Scrooge. Richard has worked with Judi Dench, Peter Hall; and at the National Theatre and in the West End.

This promises to be a magical evening with live music, song, and festivity underneath the stars. Something for the whole family to enjoy together.”

Separate tickets for these performances are available to purchase at
