Disney and Pixar ‘Cars’ roll into the National Motor Museum at Beaulieu just in time for the October 2025 half-term

24th October 2025

The National Motor Museum tells us:

(All words and photographs from the National Motor Museum).

Grab your camera and get ready to say Ka Chow this October half-term as some of the world’s most beloved stars from the Disney and Pixar Cars franchise cruise into the National Motor Museum in Beaulieu.

From 25 October 2025, some very special guests will be making a picture-puurfect pit stop at the National Motor Museum as Lightning McQueen, Mater, Jackson Storm and Finn McMissile roll in for a limited time stay!

These fan-favourite racers and Radiator Springs residents are taking a break from the track and their globetrotting adventures to meet fans face to face. It’s the ultimate chance for families to see the stars of Disney and Pixar Cars where every road leads to adventure.

Whether you’re cheering on Lightning McQueen, laughing with Mater, or solving mysteries with Finn McMissile, this is your chance to meet the stars that have been winning hearts since the early noughties.

Meet the Stars  of Disney and Pixar Cars

Lightning McQueen.

Lightning McQueen (above) is a hotshot rookie racer, determined to become the youngest car ever to win the Piston Cup Championship. With his eyes set on fame and victory, Lightning’s life is turned upside down when he winds up in Radiator Springs and learns that there’s more to life than just winning. His journey through all three Disney and Pixar Cars films showcases teamwork and friendship.

Mater.

Mater (above) is a rusty but reliable tow truck with a heart as big as his grin. As Lightning McQueen’s loyal best friend and crew chief, Mater adds humour, warmth and unexpected wisdom. Whether he’s helping out in Radiator Springs or taking part in an international espionage adventure in Disney and Pixar Cars 2, Mater proves that being yourself is always enough.

Finn McMissile.

Finn McMissile (above) is a master British spy from Disney and Pixar Cars 2, bringing action and intrigue to the franchise. Sophisticated, sharp, and incredibly resourceful, Finn plays a key role in the globe-trotting espionage adventure that takes the Disney and Pixar Cars world far beyond the racetrack.

Jackson Storm.

Jackson Storm (above) represents the new generation of high-tech racers. Sleek, fast, and supremely confident, Storm is Lightning McQueen’s biggest challenge yet in Disney and Pixar Cars 3. Trained on cutting-edge simulators, his confidence and speed make him a formidable rival on the racetrack.

Whether you’ve been riding with Lightning McQueen since his first lap or you’re meeting the team for the very first time, this special display brings their world to life and includes the chance to stand on the podium and snap a photo with the legendary Piston Cup!

Follow Lightning’s journey from rookie sensation to racing legend, and celebrate the fun, friendship, and full-throttle excitement that’s made Disney and Pixar Cars a favourite for nearly two decades.

Catch these life size models at the National Motor Museum from 25 October 2025 to 12 April 2026. It’s a pit stop you won’t want to miss!

Visitors can meet the stars as part of a general admission ticket to Beaulieu, which also includes entrance to the remainder of the Beaulieu attraction, including the world-famous National Motor Museum, the historic Beaulieu Abbey, We Had One of Those, Little Beaulieu, Palace House and its grounds and gardens.
