30 years of the Nissan Micra

Author/Source: Kim Henson

16th May 2013

nissan micra smallCan you believe it? Surely it can’t already be 30 years since the Nissan Micra was launched in the U.K?

Well, it is. Throughout four generations, the model has been known and liked for its dependability and low running costs.

To help celebrate three decades of the model, Nissan has introduced a range of special ‘30’ themed offers for owners… So, for all Micra drivers with more than three years of ownership, MoT tests cost £30, and Nissan are cutting the cost of wiper blades, tyres, brake pads and batteries, by 30 per cent.

For more details please contact your local Nissan dealer.

There’s another thing too… Nissan U.K. is trying to track down the oldest surviving Micra. If you think YOU might own this vehicle, or know someone else who does, please let us know and we’ll pass on the information to Nissan.

Our well-respected contributors live and breathe motor cars; aren’t we lucky?

Contributors to the site include talented, highly-respected people (so they tell me) on the hallowed membership list of the Guild of Motoring Writers, and from the similarly well thought-of Western Group of Motoring Writers. In addition there are valued contributions from other knowledgeable and capable motoring writers who have something useful to say about all aspects of driving and running vehicles in the 21st Century. All of our team are passionate about motor cars!
